The best tribute paid to actress Sridevi who passed away so suddenly to the utter shock of her fans and followers
May be in near future the tourists visiting Hyderabad would appreciate Charminar and Salarjung Museum sitting in the Metro train as the TS government gave nod to Hyderabad Metro train services extended to old city.
With the state government giving its approval for the construction of Metro Rail in Old City, the residents of that part of the city can rejoice.
In a bid to kick-start the works as early as possible, the state government will be writing to L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad.
Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao held a review meeting recently where he instructed the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) authorities to begin work on the six km Metro stretch in the Old City.
With the state government giving its approval for the construction of Metro Rail in Old City, the residents of that part of the city can rejoice.
Now the Hyderabad two wheeler users will be vying for this helmet as they want to wear it compulsorily and at the same time face the summer heat.
As summer approaches, those working at construction sites, cement and steel factories and other outdoor work sites are a worried lot.
Now, some comfort appears to be available for them, with a city-based company coming up with an air-conditioned helmet to keep the hot sun at bay.

Jarsh Company’s helmet is powered by a rechargeable battery, and the air-conditioning lasts from two hours to eight hours, depending on the battery capacity. It can be recharged like a mobile phone. Besides being comfortable to wear, the helmet is durable and more importantly, using this helmet will not result in any hair loss, company representatives claimed.
Set up by a team of engineering graduates, Jarsh designed the helmet in September 2016. Over 85 per cent of the components are used from the local market. After developing 40 prototypes, the company distributed the helmets to the Eastern Naval Command and a few companies to test them.
“Based on the feedback, a few minor changes were made in the design and now we are gearing up to manufacture nearly 3,000 helmets this summer at our Medchal unit. Each helmet costs Rs 5,000,” said Kausthub Kaundinya, Chief Executive Officer, Jarsh.
Weighing 250 grams heavier than the conventional ones, these helmets are ideal for people working in cement, steel and construction sites and not meant for two-wheelers. The idea is to help workers stay cool and shortly a few helmets will be distributed to the City Traffic Police personnel too, he said.
The Telangana government, especially RICH, has helped us a lot in obtaining the certifications, connections and approvals from the Indian Medical Council etc, he added.

Single handedly she did gave sleepless nights to DMK patriarch Karunanidhi. She was the powerful women leader of all time in India. Unfortunately her end came to the shock of every one. Today is her birthday. Our fond remembrance of this great Iron lady.

Four parents had to go to jail after their minor children were caught riding two-wheelers. Police caught the minors — who are from Bahadurpura, Malakpet and Asifnagar — during routine vehicle inspection drives in January and February.
Police booked cases against the persons in whose name the vehicles were registered. In all four cases, the fathers of the minors were the ones to face the music, with the court sentencing them to imprisonment.
Of the four cases, three parents had to be behind bars for one day, while one had to serve a two-day sentence, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) AV Ranganath, adding that the punishment for the minors was in the form of fines that they had to pay.
Though the minors in these four cases were not involved in any accidents, City Traffic Police officials say the approach would be the same, or even tougher, if minors driving vehicles got involved in accidents.
“In accidents wherein minors are involved, parents will be held responsible and their roles will be examined during the court hearing,” a senior official said, adding that the police would argue for a stringent approach towards minors driving vehicles and to get the parents punished first.
So this news must alert the parents, who see a charm in giving the vehicles to children who are still not perfect in driving and yet take pride that the child knows good driving skill.
Now that Kamala Hassan started his new party with a people friendly name #makkalneedhimaiam Makkal Needhi Maiam, surely there would hoards of rejected candidates from other parties wants to have their presence and say in the new party. My request to Kamala Hassan, please do not encourage politicians who have not done anything. Instead take Intellectuals and Intelligent people who are yearning for a great exposure and I bet you will be the great winner.

This is the name of new political party started by Kamala Hassan. The name itself is different from main stream political parties name and that makes huge difference. The meaning one can churn out that Justice for all is the motto of the new party. Hope a new political avatar takes place through a person who done 10 avatar in reel life. Our best wishes and support would follow.

We are fed up with huge scams after scam and mind it , they are coming out when the beneficiaries not paying and then what about concealed details of defaulters who are also dodging ?

The CBI has registered a case against Rotomac pen promoter Vikram Kothari and his family in connection with a case related to the alleged swindling of Rs 3,695 crore of bank loan funds, officials said here on Monday.

The CBI has registered a case against Rotomac pen promoter Vikram Kothari and his family in connection with a case related to the alleged swindling of Rs 3,695 crore of bank loan funds, officials said here on Monday.
The scam was earlier estimated at around Rs 800 crore.
The case against Kanpur-based Rotomac Global Pvt Limited, its director Vikram Kothari, his wife Sadhana Kothari, and son Rahul Kothari and unidentified bank officials was filed on a complaint received from Bank of Baroda, they said.
The agency searched three locations in Kanpur, including Kothari’s residence and office premises.
There have been no arrests in the case yet, CBI spokesperson Abhishek Dayal categorically said.
He said Kothari, his wife and his son are being examined by the CBI, which is conducting the searches.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also registered a money laundering case against Kothari and his family members in connection with the alleged bank loan fraud of Rs 3,695 crore, officials said.
The case was filed under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), after studying the CBI FIR that was registered on Sunday.
The ED, the officials said, would probe if the funds obtained through the alleged fraud were laundered and if the proceeds of the crime were subsequently used by the accused to create illegal assets and black money.
According to the complaint from Bank of Baroda, the conspirators allegedly cheated a consortium of bank loans of Rs 3,695 crore, including the interest component, officials said.
The principal involved is Rs 2,919 crore.
This is the second major financial scam to break out after the sensational Rs 11,400 crore fraud allegedly committed by billionaire jewellery designer Nirav Modi and his uncle Mehul Choksi, who is a promoter of Gitanjali group of companies.
Both fled the country before the Punjab National Bank realised the depth of the alleged crime.
At a time when transgender people are struggling to find dignified employment, an intersex trans woman from the city has landed a prestigious job with the Central government.

Ganga Bhavani, 32, was born in Anantapur with neither male nor female reproductive organs, and decided to identify herself as a woman at the age of 14, against the wishes of her family.
On Tuesday, Ganga landed the job of a researcher at the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (NIRD), an autonomous organisation based in Rajendranagar here and functioning under the aegis of the Union Ministry of Rural Development.
This once again proves that there is a scope for every to surge ahead. They should not demean themselves. Congrats to Ganga Bhavani.

Clever speech by @narendramodi in Mysuru.
1) He lauded Kuvempu, Vishveshwaraiah etc, but left out Tippu. People loved it.
2) He talked of Congress scam diary, but didn't take name.
3) He slammed Mysuru man Siddaramaiah in Mysuru, without taking name
Rahul Gandhi must learn from PM Modi on how to talk at what place and even without naming them. Clever speech by PM has to be appreciated.

"Scientists have claimed to have detected anti-cancer properties in three traditional varieties of rice found in Chhattisgarh.A research has concluded that three medicinal varieties of rice – Gathwan, Maharaji and Laicha – have the ability to fight cancer, said scientist Deepak Sharma. The research was conducted by the Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV), Raipur and the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Mumbai.
These varieties were taken from the rice germplasm bank preserved in IGKV, said Sharma, principal scientist at the genetics and plant breeding department of the agriculture university. The three varieties of rice have properties to cure lungs and breast cancers without affecting normal cells, Sharma told PTI.
Of them, Laicha has been found to be the most effective in preventing proliferation of cancer cells and destroying them, he said.Last year, IGKV, affiliated to the University Grants Commission, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with BARC for carrying out a range of research on various crops."
See our farmers have great ability of a scientist to produce such varieties of rice which can fight the cancer. And what the government makes them run pillar to post for MSP.(Minimum support price )
"In its guidelines on childbirth and care for pregnant women released last week, World Health Organisation (WHO) has quite forcefully suggested that obstetricians should wait till all options for normal delivery are exhausted before deciding to take up cesarean sections.
While health officials here are gearing up to adopt these new WHO guidelines on childbirth in State-run hospitals, the fact, however, remains that cesarean sections are increasingly being seen by families as a convenience rather than a medical procedure to be taken up as a last resort."
The above guidelines seems to be patient friendly. But can we expect that sincerity in doctors who spent crores to complete studies and wont earn later ?
When the banks cannot maintain ATM's better close them for ever. Why take the account holders for a ride ?
The crunch is back. Reminding many of the tough days soon after the November 2016 demonetisation announcement, several bank ATMs have run dry in the city over the last week.
The once ubiquitous ‘No Cash’ boards are now back in front of many ATMs, with customers being forced to return disappointed after trying their luck at several ATMs.
Even ATM kiosks on the premises of many banks are in the same league, with bank officials throwing their hands up over the shortage of cash.
“It is the same with most bank ATMs, not of just one particular bank. Moreover, if we manage to find one ATM that has cash, it will have only Rs 2000 notes, not Rs 500 or lesser denomination notes. Even that is a rare scenario,” said one customer in Banjara Hills.
The situation in some banks too was no different. Customers who were disappointed at ATMs tried their luck at banks too, where officials told them that there was a cash shortage and the maximum they could withdraw was Rs 20,000.
In fact, TRS MP B Vinod Kumar had earlier this week written to Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley asking him to ensure cash in banks and ATMs in the State.
“Almost all ATMs in the State have ‘no cash’ signs hanging,” he wrote, pointing out that many people were in serious trouble because of the cash shortage.

One of the largest and oldest news broadcasters in the world, BBC News, has said that Hyderabad is giving Bengaluru ‘a run for its money’ as a startup destination in India. In a 2.13-minute video story titled ‘A tale of two Indian tech cities’, produced by Pamela Parker and Medhavi Arora, startups in Hyderabad explain why they like the city and why they chose Hyderabad over Bengaluru, which for years, BBC says, has enjoyed a reputation as the darling of India’s tech industry.
Thanks KTR for bringing the old glory to Hyderabad
Came across this wonderful tweet, It just coincides with every ones thinking
If @TheOfficialSBI can deduct
for not maintaining the minimum balance, why they're not liable to pay
for not maintaining the ATMs

Now, time has come for KYB (Know Your Bank)

Thanks Prime Minister Modi, for elevating the Tamil Language and its importance. He says Tamil is the oldest language than Sanskrit and regret not having learned that.

What Actor Radha Ravi has said is absolutely right. Rajnikanth is not having confidence on himself as he is not a Tamilian or belong to Tamil Nadu. So let him make politics in Karnataka and let the Tamils rule the state. This is what majority people wants.
